Easter Oil Pastel

I worked on an oil pastel today. Somewhat of an Easter sunrise.... I used watercolor paper and found that it is too grainy. Also, there is a substance out there called Gamsol. I also see it's used with other art. If I get serious, I may have to get some! Moreover, my little picture is on top of a beautiful Tiki carving that my brother made me! It somehow makes my drawing look better :)

    Hi Paula, I love your effect!
    With respect to your question, I use recycle paper, this time I used paper for kitchen; ideally, the paper will be a soft paper.
