Light pollution is a real thing! My biggest pet peeve are neighbors back porch lights that glare so brightly. After years of growing up in mountain areas where the stars were close enough to touch, no matter what city/town I live in ultimately I end up complaining about this.
I've wanted to explore this area... Silver Cliff and Westcliffe, CO (the milky way video shows the designation of Dark Sky Community with these two towns)
